Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has released an official notification for the Pre-Polytechnic Test (PPT) 2024. The CG PPT Examination is an entrance exam conducted annually by the board. A large number of students who want to get admission to the polytechnic courses in Government and Private colleges participate in this exam.
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates through the official website of the board at vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. The online application process for Chhattisgarh PPT Entrance Exam started on 04 March 2024. Candidates must note that the last date to fill out and submit an application form is 07 April 2024. Chhattisgarh PPT Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have passed the 10th Class Examination from a recognized board of education or its equivalent qualification recognized by the State or Central Government. Students for unreserved categories need at least 35% marks overall in their matriculation, however, the SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are required to pass only.
CG PPT Age Limit
There is no minimum age limit for the Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test, but the maximum age limit is 30 years for the UR category and 33 years for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female candidates. Candidates must not exceed this upper age limit to be eligible for this examination.

Chhattisgarh Polytechnic Courses Admission Process
Students will have to appear in the Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test in the first step. This will be an offline OMR-Based Examination that will carry 150 multiple-choice questions only. Each question will carry one mark and there is no negative marking. The total duration of the exam will be 03 hours.
The Board will prepare and declare the results. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks they will score in the exam. Further, the qualified students need to appear in the document verification process and counseling process to be organized by the board.
