The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is going to conduct the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET-2024) for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programs in universities across the state. The examination is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda on behalf of TSCHE.
The process of TS EDCET Application Form 2024 has already started. The students who are interested in admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Courses can apply their application through the official portal of the Council. The registration and application process started on 06 March and the students can submit their applications on or before 06 May 2024.
The Mahatma Gandhi University will conduct the entrance test for EDCET on 23 May 2024. TS EDCET Examination will be conducted in two shifts (the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).

TSCHE Ed.CET 2024 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of any Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM/BBA) or a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Engineering or technology graduates with a specialization in Science and Mathematics are also eligible, provided they have secured 50% aggregate marks.
For candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/BC/Physically Challenged), the eligibility criteria are slightly relaxed, requiring a minimum of 40% in the qualifying examination.
Age Limit
The minimum age of applicants should not be less than 19 years as of 01 July 2024 while there is no upper age limitation to apply for TS EDCET.
Application Fee
General and OBC candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/-, while the candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PH categories have to pay an application fee of Rs. 550/-. Payment can be made via TS Online/AP Online Centers or through a secure online payment gateway that accepts Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or Net Banking.
