To fill a total of 4374 Vacant posts in Bhabha Atomic Research Center, an official notification was released in the month of April 2023. The online registration process for these vacancies started on 24 April and the last date to submit an application form was 22 May 2023.

BARC Prelims Exam Overview
The selection of the candidates will be done through three stages i.e. Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, and Skill Test. The preliminary examination has been completed now. Here we have added an overview of the examination.
- A Computer-Based Online Test was conducted.
- There was a total of 50 multiple-choice questions in the exam.
- Each question carried 3 marks.
- There was a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer.
- Questions were asked on Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness.
- Candidates were given one hour to complete the test.
BARC Result Preparation Process
The officials are working on the evaluation of answers given by the candidates. Once this evaluation is done, candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in the prelims exam. The Examination Authority will soon release the BARC Result once prepared. Applicants may check their results with the help of links we have added below.
BARC Cut-off Marks List
Along with the BARC Result, the officials will release a category-wise cut-off marks list. All the candidates need to score marks equal to or more than these minimum qualifying marks to get selected for the Advanced Test. The officials will decide these cut-off marks based on many factors such as the number of vacancies to be filled, the difficulty level of the exam, the minimum marks scored by the candidates, and many more. Candidates will have to wait for the declaration of BARC Results to check the Final Cut-off Marks for various vacancies.

BARC ST, SA, TO Posts Merit List
The officials will publish a merit list after the preparation of the results. BARC Merit List will include the roll number of the qualified candidates. Applicants have to download this merit list from the official portal of the department.
