Educational Requirements for Attendant and Technician
Candidates must have completed the 10th Class from a recognized board of education in India along with apprenticeship training of a minimum of one-year duration in designated trade from an integrated steel plant and a National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by NCVT.

SAIL Attendant and Technician Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Computer-Based Test. The final selection of the candidates will be completed through various selection phases. First of all, the authority will issue admit cards for the CBT. Then applicants will be shortlisted for the Skill/Trade Test on the basis of marks scored in the examination. Skill test is only qualifying in nature and the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in the CBT Exam.
