The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is conducting a written examination for a large recruitment drive for the posts of Driver and Conductor. Through this recruitment notification, a total of 7404 posts are to be filled.
The official notification for the GSRTC Recruitment 2023 was released on 5th August 2023. The applications were accepted from 07 August 2023. All the interested candidates filled out the applications till 6 September 2023.

GSRTC Selection Process
The selection process for the GSRTC Conductor and Driver positions includes two main tests:
Written Test- This is the initial stage of the selection process. Candidates are tested on various subjects like Geography, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, English Grammar, and specific subjects related to the role of a Conductor or Driver. The total marks for the written test are 100. Specifically, the online examination accounts for 40% of the selection weightage.
Skill Test- The candidates will be put through this test, to see their driving skills and how well they handle unexpected situations. Candidates should perform this task exceptionally well because it constitutes 60% of the marks and whether the applicants will get the job or not depends on its score.

GSTRC Conductor Call Letter
The GSRTC exam admit card is an important paper for those taking the Conductor test. It includes the candidate’s name, the specific exam they are appearing for, parent’s names, date of birth, and gender. It also tells you the date and code of the exam, the name of the exam centre, the timing of the exam, the entry time, and specific instructions for the examination day. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards to the examination hall, as entry without them is not permitted.
