The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will conduct an HP State Eligibility Test to select the candidates for the Assistant Professor Posts. HP SET Notification was published by the HP Public Service Commission in the month of September 2023. The process of registration for these posts was completed from 20 September to 17 November 2023. As the registration part is complete now the department is planning to conduct the written test for the same which will be conducted in March 2024.
HP SET Examination Schedule
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to conduct the written examination for the State Eligibility Test on 17 March 2024. The examination schedule for this exam has been released through the official portal. HP State Eligibility Test Admit Card for this exam will be released one or two weeks prior to the written test.
HP SET Examination will be conducted for 24 subjects. The medium of question papers will be Hindi and English except for language papers and Computer Science papers.
HP State Eligibility Test Exam Pattern
- This exam will be conducted only in the offline mode.
- The HP SET exam will consist of 2 PAPERS.
- All questions will be in the objective-type format.
- In the first session, all questions will be asked on the general awareness.
- There will be 50 questions in the first session. For the one correct answer candidates will get 2 marks.
- There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The time duration will be 1 hour for solving the first session and 2 hours for the second session.
- In the second session, candidates will get 100 questions that will carry 200 marks.
HP SET Admit Card Details
The HP SET admit card is a crucial document. The admit card will show the identity of the candidates. The admit card includes a lot of information about the candidates such as name, date of birth, roll no., exam centers, signature, and photographs. It is suggested that the aspirants must carry their admit card on the examination day otherwise they cannot enter the exam centers.
