Indian Navy has released an official notification for conducting the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET 01/2023). Through this test, the Indian Navy will select deserving candidates for the posts of Chargeman, Senior Draughtsman, and Tradesman Mate. Applicants must read the official advertisement before applying for these vacancies.
The online application process for INCET 01/ 2023 will start on 18 December and candidates can submit their application forms up to 31 December 2023. No applications will be received after the last date of the application process. Candidates are advised to apply as soon as the application process starts to avoid the last-minute rush.
The Indian Navy is going to fill a total of 910 Vacancies through the INCET 01/2023 Examination. Out of these total vacancies, 300 posts are released for Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop & Factory) and Senior Draughtsman (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Construction/ Cartographic/ Armament) Posts, and 610 vacancies are released for Tradesman Mate.

Educational Requirements for Indian Navy Recruitment
Applicants must possess the following educational qualifications as per the post requirements to apply for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test 2023.
- For Chargeman: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized university/ institution. Or they must possess a diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
- For Senior Draughtsman: Applicants should have passed the 10th Class Examination or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board of education in India. They must have a two-year diploma or certificate in Draughtsmanship from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized institution. In addition to these qualifications, candidates must have three years of experience from drawing and design office in the specific field.
- For Tradesman Mate: Only those candidates can apply for this post who have completed their 10th Class from a recognized board and have a certificate from a recognized ITI Institute in the relevant trade.
Desirable: Certificate in Auto Computer Aided Design (Auto CAD) or equivalent from DOEACC Society or any other reputed Institute.
Indian Navy CET Age Limit
The candidates must not be less than 18 years of age to submit an application form for the INCET 01/ 2023 Examination. Here you may check the upper age limit for a particular post.

The date for determining the age limit will be the closing date for receipt of the online applications. Only matriculation/ SSC/ Birth Certificate issued by the concerned authority will be considered as proof of date of birth. The candidates from reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules mentioned in the official notification.
INCET 2023 Application Fee
Candidates from unreserved categories are required to pay a fee of ₹295/- through online mode by using Net Banking or any other mode of online payment. The candidates from SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen & Women Candidates are exempted from the payment of the fee.
