The online registration process for MP Tax Department Vacancies takes place between 05 October to 20 October 2023. The officials will release admit cards to the eligible candidates in the upcoming days. The department is going to fill a total of 216 vacant posts through this recruitment drive.

MP Tax Department Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in an online examination and a personal interview. Firstly, the applicants have to appear for the exam. Then the department will shortlist the candidates on the basis of marks and call the qualified candidates for personal interviews.
The applicants who will clear both the stages will further participate in the document verification process and only those candidates will be appointed to their deserving post whose name will appear in the final merit list.
Tax Assistant & Commercial Tax Inspector Exam Schedule
The examination schedule for MP Tax Department Recruitment is yet to be announced. MP Tax Assitant, CTI Paper Pattern
- The Department will conduct an online examination.
- The examination will consist of two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper II.
- Each Paper will carry 100 questions and each question will be of 1.5 marks.
- Candidates will be given 2 Hours & 30 Minutes for each paper.

Candidates have to score a minimum of 50% marks in each paper to qualify for the exam. Those who fail to secure these marks will be out of this recruitment process. For the candidates from SC/ ST Categories, the minimum qualifying marks will be 45% marks only.

MP Tax Department Admit Card will be released through the official webpage of the department. Candidates are advised to download these call letters before the examination date and check the details and instructions given on them. The details about their name, roll number, father’s name, gender, category, examination date & timing, examination venue, and various other details should be verified carefully.
It is compulsory for the candidates to bring a hard copy of this admit card while appearing for the examination. Along with the printout of this admit card, original identity proof, and recent passport-size photographs are also required to get entry to the examination hall. Applicants must remember to carry these essentials to the examination hall.
