PNB Defence Advisor Eligibility Conditions
The applicants must be Brigadiers in the Indian Army for the post of Senior Defence Banking Advisor (SDBA) and for the post of Defence Banking Advisor (DBA), the candidate must be a Selection Grade Colonel in the Indian Army or equivalent rank in the Indian Air Force.

The appointment will be made on a Contract Basis and the chosen candidates will be engaged for 1 year and will be further reviewed yearly, subject to the condition of good health and performance of the defence advisor. The term of engagement will expire automatically on attaining a total of 05 years of engagement or 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.

PNB Defence Banking Advisor’s Selection Process
The Bank officials will shortlist the eligible applicants for an Interview. The selection of the candidates is purely based on their profile and their performance in the interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the Bank’s official site at www.pnbindia.in.
Also, retiring officers within three months of the advertisement may be shortlisted but will be assigned after their retirement.
