Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission has completed the process of examination for UP PET. The examination was conducted in the last week of October at various examination centres allotted by the Service Selection Commission. The paper was completed in two different days on 28 & 29 October 2023.
As per sources, nearly 40 lakh candidates have applied and appeared in the written test conducted by the department. As the examination process is over now the participants have started their search for UPSSSC PET Result which will be declared by the department on its official website.
UP PET Result 2023 for the October examination will be declared after completing the initial process. The Subordinate Service Selection Commission of Uttar Pradesh is responsible for the conduction of the UP PET Examination. It is basically a Pre Eligibility Test for various Group B & C posts. For the year 2023, UPSSSC PET Notification was issued on 01 August. Through the Advt. No. 07/2023 the Commission has invited applications for various vacancies of Junior Assistant, Clerk, Steno, Technician, X-Ray Technician and other Group B, & C Posts.
The process of registration for the same was started on 01 August and was completed by 30 August 2023. After completing the registration part the department had scheduled the written examination for UP PET for 28 & 29 October 2023.
UP PET Exam Overview
UPSSSC PET Examination was conducted in two shifts on two different days. The exam scheme details for PET Examination are described here-
- The Preliminary Eligibility Test consisted of MCQ (Objective Type Questions).
- A total of 100 questions were asked in this examination.
- Each question was asked for 1 mark and there was a negative marking of 0.25 marks in this exam.
- A time duration of 2 hours was given to complete the examination.
- The level of the questions is higher secondary.
UPSSSC PET Result Status
The result of the Uttar Pradesh PET Exam will be expected to come out around the mid of November 2023. Before the result declaration, the commission will first release the provisional answer key.
After that, the commission will invite the candidates to raise any concerns or objections they may have about the answers. The board will then review these objections and make a final answer key. The final result of the UP PET Exam will be determined using this final answer key.
UP PET Cut-Off Score
Many people have participated in this exam for the first time so they might not know about Cut-Off Marks. Basically, the Cut-Off Score is the minimum qualifying mark you have to score to qualify for the next phase. If you score the minimum qualifying marks then you will be declared qualified in the preliminary exam.
