Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission recently conducted a Preliminary Eligibility Test for the year 2023. The examination was scheduled on 28 and 29 October 2023 and conducted successfully at various examination centres across the state. As per the details, nearly 40 Lakh candidates appeared for the examination and now looking for the exam solutions to be released shortly.
According to the applicants, the level of the paper was moderate to easy. The candidates are very eager to check their performance in the exam. The commission will release the UPSSSC PET Answer Key soon on the official webpage at upsssc.gov.in The candidates who will qualify for this eligibility test will be able to apply for various vacancies to be filled in the future by the state government.

UP PET is a common eligibility test for all recruitments to be commenced by the commission in the future. Qualified candidates will get a certificate of eligibility which is valid for a period of one year. Those candidates will be eligible to apply for Group B, C & D Recruitments.
For PET 2023, the commission released the official notification on 01 August 2023, and the application forms are received till 30 August 2023. The commission issued admit cards to the eligible candidates on 19 October 2023 and a large number of aspirants successfully appeared in this exam.
UPSSSC PET Exam Overview
- The commission conducted an offline OMR-Based Test.
- A total of 100 questions were asked in the exam.
- The level of the questions asked was equivalent to a Higher Secondary Exam.
- Each question carried one mark.
- There was also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer given.
- The time duration of the exam was 02 hours.

UP PET Answer Key & Objection Submission Process
The Commission will publish UPSSSC PET Answer Key in two phases. Firstly, a provisional answer key will be released through the official webpage. Candidates can check the exam solutions thoroughly from this answer key. The candidates can also challenge the solutions given in this answer key with the help of an objection submission link which will be available for two to three days only.
The applicants have to react fast to check and object to the answers given in this answer key. Once this process is completed, a final answer key will be published and no objections against it will be received. Candidates will be provided marks as per the solutions given in the answer key.
