According to the statistics, a total of 3.3 Lakh applicants registered themselves for the CAT 2023. The online registration process started on 23 August and concluded on 13 September 2023. The examination has been completed now, and soon the IIM CAT Result will be declared. Candidates must know their CAT ID and password to access the Common Admission Test Scorecard 2023.
CAT 2023 Examination Overview
IIM organized the Common Admission Test as a Computer-Based Online Test. The examination consisted of 3 sections overall. A total of 66 multiple-choice questions were asked in the exam. Each question carried 3 marks and there was a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The total duration of the exam was 2 hours.

IIM CAT Result Preparation Process
The IIM will release a Final Answer Key for the Common Admission Test before the announcement of results. Once this answer key is released, the officials will evaluate the marks of the candidates as per the answers given by them and the solutions given in this key. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks they have scored and the IIM CAT Result will be published on the official website. Each candidate can check their scorecard by logging in using their User ID and Password.
CAT 2023 Expected Cut-off Marks
IIM CAT Cut-off Marks will be released along with the results. CAT 2023 cut-off marks are expected to range around 95-100 percentile for top IIM colleges. On the other hand, the CAT cutoff is usually above the 80 percentile for MBA colleges. These cut-off marks will vary for different institutes and different categories.
