Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission organized the State Services Prelims Examination to select deserving candidates for various administrative posts in different departments. The commission is going to fill a total of 229 vacancies through this recruitment drive. MPPSC published an official notification with Advertisement No. 31/ 2023 and invited online applications from eligible candidates. A large number of applicants submitted their forms from 22 September to 21 October 2023.

After receiving these applications, the officials issued admit cards to the eligible applicants on 08 December 2023 and organized the MPPSC Prelims Exam successfully on 17 December 2023. Further, the commission will shortlist the candidates for the main examination and release the MPPSC SSE Prelims Result.
MP State Services Prelims Examination Overview
The commission conducted an offline OMR-Based Examination. Only objective-type questions were asked in the exam. MPPSC Prelims Exam included two papers of 200 marks each. Each question carried two marks and candidates were given 2 hours to complete the test.
The preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. Those who will qualify for this examination will be eligible to participate in the main examination and interview to be scheduled by the officials. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in the main exam only.
MPPSC Prelims Result Preparation Process
Applicants have successfully submitted their OMR sheets. The commission is working on the evaluation of these sheets. Once the evaluation of each candidate is completed, the officials will decide the cut-off marks and shortlist them based on their marks for the main examination. Then the commission will release the MPPSC Prelims Result on its official site.
Madhya Pradesh SSE Prelims Cut-off Marks List
The Commission has released a category-wise cut-off marks list along with the MPPSC SSE Prelims Exam Result. All the candidates need to score marks equal to or more than these cut-off marks to get shortlisted for the main exam. The minimum passing mark for the prelims examination is 30% only. But the cut-off marks are expected to be higher than these marks.
