The National Testing Agency has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission with the task of conducting the National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice every year to determine the eligibility of the candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian Universities and Colleges.
For UGC-NET December 2023, the exam is scheduled to be conducted in December 2023. The agency will release the UGC NET Admit Card in the first week of December 2023. Candidates can download their respective call letters from the official web portal at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

UGC NET Exam Date Out
Candidates will be able to know their examination cities in the last week of November 2023. UGC NET Admit Cards will be made available for download in the first week of December 2023 and the examination is scheduled to be held from 06 December to 22 December 2023 at various examination centres. You will get all the remaining information through the call letters only. We will also inform you about further updates.
National Eligibility Test Pattern & Exam Scheme
The test will consist of two papers i.e. Paper I for Teaching & Research Aptitude and Paper II for opted subjects. Only objective-type questions will be asked in both papers. Each question will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer given by the candidates. The total duration of the exam will be 3 Hours. UGC NET Admit Card is an essential document for the aspirants who will appear for the NET December 2023 Examination.
