The application process for UTET commenced on June 30, 2023. Initially, the last date to submit the UTET application was July 28, 2023. However, this date was extended to August 7, 2023. The deadline for the submission of the application fee was July 31, 2023.

UTET Exam Overview
There are two UTET examinations. The first paper is conducted for the candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper- 2 is for those who are interested in teaching classes 6 to 8. The first paper was conducted from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., whereas the second paper was conducted in the afternoon from 2 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.

- Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.
- Candidates are awarded one mark for each correct answer.
- There is no negative marking in UTET.
- The duration for each paper is 2 hours 30 minutes.

UTET Qualifying Marks
The qualifying score is the minimum mark that candidates need to achieve to pass the UTET exam. These scores are set as a percentage of the total marks.
