The marks obtained in this stage are typically used to qualify candidates for the next stage but are not counted towards the final selection.

Main Examination

Candidates who successfully clear the Preliminary Exam are eligible to appear for the Main Examination. This stage is more challenging, with a higher weightage of marks. The Main Exam tests the candidates’ in-depth knowledge, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills in various subjects related to the duties of a Police Sub-Inspector.

This stage often includes both objective and subjective types of questions, making it important for candidates to have a thorough understanding of the subjects.
