The Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 21 January 2024. Those who applied for this exam can download the CTET Admit Card 2024 a few days before the examination date. These admit cards are available on the official web portal at ctet.nic.in.
The board will organize this test to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts. For CTET JAN-2024, the online application process started on 03 November 2023. Previously, the last date for submitting the application forms was 23 November but later this date was extended to 01 December 2023. Now the board has issued CTET Admit Card to the eligible candidates only.

CTET JAN-2024 Examination Schedule
The examination date for the Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test 2024 has been announced by the officials. This examination will be held on 21 January 2024. Candidates will get more information about the exam timing and the address of the examination center through the CTET Admit Card.
Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test Pattern & Exam Scheme
- CTET Examination will be conducted for a total of 150 marks.
- The Test will contain 150 objective-type questions only.
- Candidates will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
- Each question will carry one mark.
- There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The applicants need to score at least 60% marks to qualify for the CTET Examination. It means they need to secure 90 marks out of 150 to be declared CTET Qualified. The qualified candidates will get a certificate of eligibility and the validity of this certificate is for a lifetime. A candidate needs to qualify for the CTET Examination only once in his lifetime.
CTET Admit Card Details
The CTET Admit Card is released through the official web portal mentioned below. Applicants will have to take a hard copy of this admit card along with an original identity proof of having a recent passport-size photograph of the individual to get entry to the examination hall.
