Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test Result. The CTET Jan-2024 Examination was conducted on 21 January 2024 at various examination venues all over India. Many applicants participated in this exam and were waiting for the release of the CTET Result 2024.

It is compulsory to qualify for the CTET Examination to be eligible for the Future Teacher’s Vacancies to be filled by the Government Authorities. Online applications were received from candidates for CTET Jan- 2024 from 03 November to 01 December 2023. The officials issued admit cards to the eligible applicants and organized the exam successfully on the scheduled date and time. Further, the CTET Result will be declared by the officials soon.
CTET 2024 Examination Overview
The Board organized two separate examinations for Primary & Upper Primary Levels. Only objective-type questions were asked in the exam. The total duration of the exam was 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each question carried one mark, and there was no negative marking for wrong answers. The examination was conducted for a total of 150 marks. Applicants must score more than the minimum qualifying marks for the CTET Exam.
CTET Jan- 2024 Result Preparation Process
The participants have submitted their OMR answer sheets to the invigilator. The Examination Authority is working on the evaluation of these seats. Candidates will be awarded marks per the solutions given in the answer key. The board will shortlist those who will qualify for the examination and the officials will release the CTET Result and issue Eligibility Certificates to them.
Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test Qualifying Marks
The Board has released the minimum qualifying marks for the CTET Examination. Each applicant must score marks more than or equal to these minimum marks to be considered a CTET Qualified Candidate. Here we have added the CTET Qualifying Marks as given below.
- For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD Categories: 55% (82 out of 150 Marks)
- For Unreserved & Other Categories: 60% (90 out of 150 Marks)
There is no exemption in the CTET Qualifying Marks for female candidates. The passing marks for the CTET Exam remain the same for male and female candidates. The qualified candidates will get a certificate of eligibility valid for a lifetime. It means an applicant has to qualify for the CTET only once.
CTET 2024 Certificate
The Board will provide the Certificate for the CTET Qualified Candidates. The officials will release the CTET Result on its official website. The participants will have to go to the official site and check their qualifying status. After the declaration of the CTET Result the qualified certificate will be provided to the participants who will score the minimum qualifying marks.
