UPSC Civil Services Educational Qualification Details
The Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution to be eligible for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
Union Public Service Commission CSE Age Limit
An applicant must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 01 August 2024. It means the candidates must not have been born earlier than 02 August 1992 and not later than 01 August 2003. There will be a relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per the rules mentioned in the official notification.
UPSC CSE Number of Attempts
Candidates are permitted to appear in the Civil Services Examination only 6 times. However, relaxation in the number of attempts will be available to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD Categories as given below.

UPSC Civil Services Exam Application Fee
The Female/ SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates are exempted from the payment of fees. All other applicants are required to pay an examination fee of ₹100/- to submit their application forms for the UPSC CSE Recruitment. This application fee can be paid through any branch of SBI by cash or through any other online mode of payment.
