For the Odisha Civil Services Examination, the application process takes place in January-February 2023. More than 80,000 candidates applied for Various Group A & B Vacancies to be filled through this recruitment drive. Nearly 8,000 applications were rejected and eligible candidates were called for the preliminary examination.

The Preliminary Examination included two papers. Therefore the commission conducted the exam in two shifts in a single day. Both the papers were objective-type and consisted of MCQ questions only. Paper II of General Studies is only qualifying in nature and 33% marks are the minimum qualifying marks.
The commission will evaluate Paper II first and then check Paper I of qualified candidates only. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks they have scored in Paper I. Only shortlisted applicants will be eligible to participate in further selection process.

OPSC OCS Result Preparation Process
The Officials are working on the evaluation of the answer sheets provided by the candidates. Once they evaluated all the sheets and provided marks to each candidate as per the solutions given in the OPSC OCS Answer Key, the commission will prepare a merit list including the names of the shortlisted candidates.
The commission will publish the merit list of qualified candidates on the official webpage at www.opsc.gov.in Applicants have to download this list and check their name and roll number in the list by themselves. We will add a direct link to access the OPSC OCS Result once declared officially.
Cut-off Marks List For OPSC Prelims Exam
A category-wise cut-off marks list will be published along with the Odisha OCS/ OAS Result 2023. These cut-off marks depend on various factors such as the number of vacancies to be filled, the number of applicants who appeared in the exam, and the complexity of the examination.
The candidates have to score marks equal to or more than these minimum qualifying marks to get shortlisted for the main exam. Here we have added the previous year’s cut-off marks list so that the applicants may get an idea about the final cut-off marks for this year.

OPSC OCS/ OAS Merit List
The commission will publish a merit list through the official portal of the department. OPSC OCS Merit List will include the name and roll number of the qualified candidates. It is highly expected that the officials will release this list at the end of November 2023.
