National Testing Agency has recently completed the Sainik School Admission Test. The examination was conducted on 28 January 2024 at various examination centres allotted by the agency all over the country. The AISSEE is an annual examination aimed at selecting students for admission into Sainik Schools. These schools are affiliated with the CBSE board and provide a curriculum that focuses on overall personality development along with academic excellence, preparing students for a future in the National Defence Academy and other prestigious military and non-military institutions.
Admission Test Overview
The exam was conducted on January 28th and was structured to test the candidates’ aptitude in various subjects, following a specific paper pattern and exam scheme. The paper was divided into different sections, each focusing on subjects like Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, and Intelligence. The examination for Class 6th was conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and for Class 9th was conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
- Class VI examination was conducted for 300 marks and consisted of 125 questions.
- The class IX examination consisted of 150 questions for 400 marks.
- The duration of the exam for the 6th standard was 150 minutes.
- The duration of the exam for 9th standard was 180 minutes.
