The Staff Selection Commission will organize an examination for SSC GD Constable Vacancies. A large number of applicants from all over India have applied for this recruitment. This year, a total of 26146 Vacancies are announced. The commission will shortlist the candidates for further recruitment phases (PET/ PST Tests) through an online computer-based test. The selected candidates will be posted in various paramilitary forces (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, NIA, SSF, and Assam Rifles) as GD Constables.

SSC GD Examination Schedule
The commission announced the examination date for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2024. This exam will be held from 20 February to 12 March 2024. More details regarding the examination venue and other instructions will be mentioned on the SSC GD Admit Card.
CAPF Constable Paper Pattern & Exam Scheme
In the first stage of the recruitment process, the candidates will have to appear in the Computer-Based Examination. The commission will conduct an online exam. Only objective-type questions will be asked in the exam. There will be a total of 80 multiple-choice questions in the exam. Each question will carry 2 marks and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The questions will be of Matric Level. Candidates will get one hour to complete the test.

SSC GD Admit Card Details & Availability
The commission will issue the SSC GD Admit Card one or two weeks before the examination date. Applicants must remember to take a printout of this admit card while going to the examination hall. Candidates also need to take their original identity proof along with recent passport-size photographs to appear in the exam. Without these essentials, applicants will not be permitted to sit in the exam. Candidates are also advised to verify the following details before the examination date.
