Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The Officials will declare the GATE Result through the same web portal as mentioned. GATE Answer Key is available on this site from 21 February 2024, and candidates can submit their objections from 22 February to 25 February 2024. Thousands of candidates appear in the GATE Examination every year. This year, online applications were received from eligible applicants from 31 August to 12 October 2023. As the examination has been completed successfully on the scheduled time, candidates can check the answer key available on the official site. GATE 2024 Exam Overview
The IISC, Bangalore, organized a computer-based online test. The total duration of the exam was 3 hours, and the exam was conducted for 100 marks. Each question carried one mark; there was a negative mark of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer. For each question carried two marks, there was a negative marking of 2/3 marks. Applicants can analyze their marks with the help of the answer key. Soon, the officials will release the GATE Result & Scorecard through the authorized portal.
IISC GATE Result Preparation Process
The Institute will evaluate each candidate’s performance and give them marks per the solutions given in the key. After evaluating the responses of all the applicants, results will be prepared and released accordingly. GATE Cut-off Marks List 2024
The participating IITs, NITs, and other institutions will decide the cut-off marks. A separate cut-off mark will be released for a particular institution. The candidates who score marks equal to or more than these minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for admission to that particular institute.
The GATE Cut-off Marks depend on various factors such as the number of students who appeared in the exam, minimum marks scored by them, the number of available seats, and the difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can check these marks once the GATE Result is declared. The candidates who score more than the minimum passing marks will get their scorecard through the official website.
GATE Merit List
The officials will release no merit list. The Institute will simply declare the GATE Results through its official site. Each candidate can visit the portal and check their respective results.
