An official Haryana Civil Services Examination notification was published in November 2023. A huge number of applications were received online from 01 December 2023 to 21 December 2023. The Commission organized the preliminary exam on 11 February 2024, further, the candidates who qualify for this examination will be eligible for Main Examination. Haryana Civil Services Prelims Exam Overview
The officials organized an offline OMR-Based Test. The examination included two papers i.e. Paper I for General Studies and Paper II for Civil Service Aptitude Test. The duration of each paper was 2 hours, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The prelims exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks. To participate in the Main Exam, it is compulsory to qualify for this exam.
HPSC HCS Result Preparation Process
The Candidates have submitted their OMR answer sheets successfully after completing the HPSC HCS Prelims Exam. The Commission is working on evaluating these sheets submitted by the applicants. Once each candidate is evaluated, they will be shortlisted based on their marks, and the HPSC HCS Result will be prepared accordingly.
Haryana Civil Services Prelims Exam Cut-off Marks List
The Commission will release a category-wise cut-off marks list and the HPSC HCS Result. These are the minimum qualifying marks; each applicant must score marks equal to or more than these cut-off marks to be shortlisted for the Main Examination. The HPSC HCS Cut-off Marks will be decided by the commission based on various factors such as the number of vacancies, the number of participants, and the difficulty level of the exam.
