The Odisha Directorate General of Fire and Emergency Services is going to conduct the written examination for the posts of Fireman and Fireman Driver. The examination will be conducted in offline mode at various examination centres allotted by the authorities.
The Fire and Emergency Services Department has declared the Exam Date for the Fireman Examination. As per the official notification, the examination for the mentioned posts will be scheduled for 27 November 2023. The applicants who have applied for OFS Vacancies will be able to participate in this examination after downloading their admit card.
The Odisha Fireman Admit Card will be released two weeks before the examination. The candidates can download their OFS Admit Card through the official portal by providing their registration number and password details. The recruitment notification for Odisha Fireman & Fireman Driver was published on 31 August 2023. Through this notification, the Fire and Emergency Services Department of Odisha has invited applications for 941 vacancies out of which 826 vacancies are for Fireman and 115 vacancies are for Driver posts. The process of application submission was started on 01 September and was completed by 30 September 2023.

Odisha Fireman & Driver Selection Process
The process for selection for these posts will be completed on the basis of various phases of selection-
- Written Exam
- Physical Test
- Document Verification
First of all, the department will conduct the written examination for these posts. After the written exam the shortlisted participants will be called for the physical test and so on. The final selection of applicants will be done on the basis of a merit list which will be prepared by the marks obtained by the applicants in various selection phases.

- The written examination will be conducted for 100 marks and will contain 100 questions.
- Each question will be asked for 1 mark.
- No marks will be deducted for the wrong answer opted by the participants.
- A time duration of 120 minutes will be given to solve this examination.

The officials have declared the OFS Fireman Exam Date through its official portal. The examination will be conducted on 27 November and the OFS Fireman Admit Card will be released on 14 November 2023.
Odisha Fireman Admit Card Details
OFS Fireman Admit Cards will be available online only. The Admit Card will not be sent by mail or any other medium. Candidates must print their own admit cards. To download your admit card, keep your application printout handy.
The admit card will contain all important information for candidates to appear in the Odisha Fireman Exam, such as name, roll number, category, photograph, exam name, and exam date.
