West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the WBJEE-2024 Notification. WBJEE is a state-level common entrance examination for admission into various undergraduate courses in different universities in the State of West Bengal. WBJEE 2024 Examination will be conducted for the academic session 2024-25.
With the release of an official advertisement, the board invited online applications from eligible candidates. The online registration process for West Bengal JEE Examination 2024 started on 28 December 2023. Candidates must note that the last date to submit an application form for this exam is 31 January 2024.

Educational Requirements for WBJEE-2024
Applicants must have passed the 12th Class Examination with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Computer Application from a recognized board of education in India. To apply for B.Tech courses, candidates need at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD) in the same subjects. Those who fulfil these conditions can apply for the West Bengal JEE Examination.
West Bengal JEE Exam Age Limit
The age of the candidates to apply for the WBJEE-2024 Examination should not be less than 17 years as of 31 December 2024. There are no criteria for an upper age limit. But for the Marine Engineering Degree Courses, the upper age limit will be 25 years on the same day.
WBJEE-2024 Examination Fee
Applicants will have to pay an application fee to submit their WBJEE Application Forms successfully. The examination fee must be paid through an online mode of payment only. The candidates have to pay the following application fee as per their category.
- For Unreserved Categories: ₹500/-
- For SC/ ST/ OBC Categories: ₹400/-
